Dealing with Service Animals: Guide for Landlords
We have tenants who have recently moved into a property; the landlord has stipulated no pets. However, the tenant has advised they are getting a service dog. Can the landlord decline this request, and is there anything we can ask the tenant for document-wise for them to prove it is a service dog?
